Associate Attorney at Joseph Taylor, Jr. & Associates 

December 2000 – January 2002  

After graduating from The John Marshall Law School, my first entry-level position was as an associate attorney for Joseph Taylor, Jr. and Associates as in-house counsel for American Service Insurance Company.. My responsibilities included defending hundreds of personal injury and property damage claims filed in the Chicago land area. Geographically, I was responsible for overseeing cases in the Richard J. Daley Center, Skokie, Rolling Meadows, Maywood, Bridgeview, Markham, Cook, Lake, DuPage, McHenry, Kane, Winnebago Counties, and Illinois. My duties included handling all aspects of civil litigation including, bench and jury trials, arbitration proceedings, AAA arbitrations, discovery, pleadings, third-party complaints.

The John Marshall Law School – Juris Doctorate

1997 – 2000

The John Marshall Law School has provided a real life experience, not only in the general law studies, but also prepared me to become a trial lawyer. As a student at The John Marshall Law School, I was fortunate to partake in a legal study trip to the Czech Republic and its first trip to Slovakia, under the direction of Professor Michael P. Seng. A group of thirteen persons (7 attorneys, 4 students and 2 staff) participated in the 6th annual CLE conference on American law co-sponsored by the Czech Bar Association at the Anglo-American College in Prague. Over twenty-five American and Czech lawyers attended. A favorite part of the program was a panel discussion on American Legal education presented by John Marshall Law Students.
